Chór Byzantion, założony w 1997 roku, obecnie działa w Iasi w Rumunii, z błogosławieństwem Jego Eminencji Teofana, Metropolity Mołdawii i Bukowiny oraz pod auspicjami Uniwersytetu Artystycznego „George Enescu” Iasi. Obecnym kierownikiem Chóru Byzantion jest Adrian Sîrbu. Materiał na płytę został zarejestrowany podczas festiwalu Muzyka w Starym Krakowie w 2013 roku. Repertuar wybrany przez artystów to  obszerny i wymowny obraz muzyki sakralnej Cesarstwa Bizantyjskiego, śpiewów modlitewnych świętych Ojców Wschodu. Spis utworów:
